Hiding Out on an April Morning
It is 7:56 on Thursday morning, and Asher should be getting ready to go to camp. He has eaten his breakfast and seems to think that there is a reason to hide out. It is quiet in the house, so I'm wondering if he is just missing his mommy this morning.
He learned a new song in the car last night. After we dropped Mommy off at the train station so she could stay with Auntie Sharon I sang:
Shalom Ima, le hitraot machar
Shalom Ima, le hitraot machar
Shalom Ima, le hitraot machar
Le hitraot machar
Maybe the song made him sad? Or maybe he figures that since he ate such a luxurious breakfast (kibble and soup chicken) that he is entitled to a snooze before camp?
