The Well Travelled Pup: A sabra in the suburbs.

Since there weren't any new photos taken, I kind of let the blog slip. Already.

Asher went to the vet yesterday, but only saw a vet tech, named Dave. He managed to get blood from the boy, but had to take him to another room for a change of scenery since 2 people couldn't get my furry friend under control. Anyway, he'll start his heartworm meds next week, when they arrive in the mail.

We were rained out of the Bark Park yesterday, and I dreaded a whole day without him getting in any good runs, but he did very well (and so did I, thanks for asking!) Today we were able to go back to the Bark Park and he befriended an American Bulldog named Gus - about 110 pounds of Gus and 53 pound Asher running around, chasing each other (yes, humping, as usual), tugging on a rope together and doing some real boy wrestling (they pinned one another, though Asher got pinned more often!) Quinn, a unneutered Golden Retriever played with them quite nicely as well. Now Asher will go to the park to look for Gus, Larry (the red nosed pit bull mix) and Jimmy (pit bull) - they seem to play in the same ways.

I seem to be the most compulsive human about getting to the Bark Park, no suprise there.
