Asher at home

The weather is cold and sometimes gray and Asher has been a trooper - thank goodness for marrow bones for occupying him and keeping him relatively sane! Relative is the key word here.

Asher has always barked at anyone coming to door - front door or opening the garage. He is very protective that way. He barks, loudly, from "his" window when the people across the way are walking their dog. He barks ferociously when Alan comes out of his bathroom - as if Asher had not seen him go in? As if he doesn't know his own grandpa?

But over the weekend, there was, suddenly, some new demon to protect us from. The washing machine. Seems one of the cycles sounds a little bit like the garage door opening and Asher went ballistic thinking someone was coming into the house.

So, let me get this straight -- we can't go the bathroom, we can't come and go from the house, we can't use the washing machine...life with Asher is never dull!
