Mastering the Hammock

Asher has attempted to settle himself on the hammock several times - with Alan, with me, with Sharon. But he tends to find it hard to get his balance, and gets agitated and gets off.

It is very hot out. Asher wants outside time, but he doesn't want it alone. I hate outside time when it is in the 80s. But I had a book to finish and a puppy who wanted an adventure. So out to the hammock and the zip line we went. We finally figured out that he is most comfortable going across the hammock. And that works best if I am across the hammock as well, with a foot on the ground to balance us both. We rather contentedly sat like that for quite a while...maybe we'll even try it again in the next few days.
