It is relatively balmy today!

With temperatures all the way into the lower twenties today (hey, it is relative- yesterday it was 6 in the morning!) Asher and Grandma alit for a morning trudge in the newly fallen(falling) snow. He balked a few times, and 2 out of 4 paws required some cleaning (apparently they are salting this year, not sanding) but he wanted to go for a longer walk - great exercise for grandma (not so easy to walk in 2 inches of snow with boots on and a dog pulling because he wants to run and play in the snow!

Hopefully we'll get him up to the field this afternoon so he can really run free for a while. I tried tying him to the line to keep me company while I shovelled (don't get excited I did about 1/3 of the driveway and stopped because it was too icy underfoot and I'm paranoid about falling.) Since Mommy is on vacation, Grandma and Grandpa get to spoil the puppy all we want (he really liked his 1/2 turkey burger last night, while Grandma and Grandpa were still eating theirs!)
