Asher did just fine at the kennel - they said he was a very easy dog! So he's booked for erev Rosh Hashanah as well as for Thanksgiving! He really really really needed to pee when I got him - it was almost as significant as the post Israel flight pee! Then a needed stroll in a grassier area to satisfy his other need...and then home. He was calm in the car and great when he got home.
He took up his post on the stairs to make sure that the house is safe.

Then he sniffed around in his Mama's room for a little bit.
And finally found his special toy that his mama brought for him from California. He missed his pig!

There was a slight delay in the typing of this post, since Asher decided to borrow a sock, not just any sock, but a Dickinson sock and dare Grandma to get it from him. He darted around the living room and kitchen, and upstairs, thrilled to just to be able to do it. But that squeaky pig was too much temptation and an equitable trade was made! The sock was saved!
