Some Thoughts on a Winter Morning, by Asher G. Fraade
Grandma is channeling my thoughts today, since she figures you want to know what I think some of the time.
She finally took me out for our Scarsdale walk today - I don't understand why she doesn't want to run on the ice like I do! It is so fun - especially when my legs go in different directions. Apparently she likes hers to go one way. And I wonder why none of the snow and ice is yellow?
I had to do some higher math today - I have to take the volume of my bladder, and divide it by the number of poles and trees we pass, since I do have to pee on all of them - and it can be *so* hard to squeeze something out by the end of our walk! But I do keep trying.
I like to stop and smell other dogs' poop. Grandma doesn't like it when I do - I don't see what the problem is, since I'm not stupid enough (like some other dog she knew) to eat the stuff - I just want to know if theirs smells better than mine! NO IT DOES NOT! I have the best smelling poop around town! That's because Grandma feeds me things I like - sometimes I like to change things up on her and refuse to eat my favorite combo of kibble, yogurt and carrots. It makes her nutty, but it is so much fun when I can manipulate her into feeding me by hand!
My favorite 2 places in the house are in Grandma and Grandpa's bed, and looking out of the window. I'm like the mayor of the block these days because I know who comes and goes all the time. I don't bother to bark at most of them though.
I know that my favorite place is going to change in 3 weeks when Mommy comes back - then my favorite place will be wherever she is! Oh, and Mommy, HAPPY HALF BIRTHDAY!
