Asher's Vacation

We received a good report from the kennel - Asher did fine on his vacation in Rye. But he came out with just his leash, and the nice man there explained that they hang things outside of where the dogs stay, so the right leash, etc. goes with the right dog. Apparently, Asher decided to jump up to the height of the hook and managed, unbeknownst to anyone, to extricate his harness and chew through it. So we went directly to PetSmart, where we got him a new harness.

When we were at PetSmart, the trainer (a different PetSmart, a different trainer) became enamored of him. And, recognizing her accent, I told her that Asher was from Israel. So Asher got loved a little by a landsman!

Now we are home - he seems most interested in his own room, which is fine. He was very thirsty, but didn't eat when he got home, so he must have eaten while he was on vacation. Don't we all.
