Houdini Dog?

We were out for our morning constitutional - again it was very very cold today. And as we were trekking along, a car stopped and a man asked what kind of dog Asher is. So I went through the explanation, and when he heard the pup is from Israel he asked if he is a "Canaani" - seems he was deciding between a Canaani and a shepherd and went with the shepherd, since he heard that a Canaani is a Houdini dog - they jump 6 foot fences (our little guy tunneled under instead in Indianapolis). Through the whole conversation Asher was trying to eat my new EMS glittens. But the man did say how beautiful the pup is!
